Library 101 – Finding a book in the Library
When starting your research you have to decide which type of reference material you want to use. The library has many resources that can be used including books, articles, journals, newspapers, and videos. Books can be a valuable research material by helping find further information about at topic. Being able to locate a book is important to students because they offer a hard copy of the information, the library has many scholarly books that can be used for research, and when you can locate a book you have a place to start your research.
To find a book you have to:
a.       If you have any questions about how to locate anything on the website, librarians are happy to help you in your search.
2.      Click on the books and more tab
3.      Enter a keyword, title, author, or subject into the search box
a.       Advanced search can be used to help find other related information and search multiple topics together.
4.      Write down the call number of the desired book and what floor that book is on
5.      Checkout at the circulation desk or use the book in the library
