Interview questions

1.       What interested you in coming to the United States for higher education?
2.       How did you end up choosing SCSU in St. Cloud Minnesota?
3.       Do you plan on staying in the United States after graduation?
4.       How does our culture differ from your country?
5.       Have you enjoyed university living and has it changed your worldly views?
6.       What has been your favorite experience since coming to the United States?
7.       Did you have a preconceived notion about the United States and our culture? Has that changed since you have lived here?
8.       Have you become interested in American sports? How do they differ from sports teams in your country?
9.       Have you experienced any culture shock? And if you have, how have you combatted that?
10.   Who influenced you into coming into the United States and did you have any troubles getting accepted or getting a visa?
11.   Have you experienced any homesickness?
12.   Are there any aspects of American culture that you disagree with?
13.   What would you change about American culture if you could?
14.   Do any of your morals or beliefs differ from the general public in the United States?
15.   Do you have public transportation available in your area of the country? Do you utilize it? And do you utilize it here?
16.   Did you have any prejudices against the United States before you came here?
17.   If I come to your country, where would you suggest I visit and where should I avoid?
18.   Do we have more power in American government than you do in your government?
19.   Are traditional gender roles followed in your country? (ie women in the house men working)
20.   Would you suggest the United States to other people in your country?
